The polis-inventory app is authored by Jess Taylor, a technologist, scientist, and life-long student of the Greek and Roman civilizations. Jess earned his BA and MS in Geophysics, emphasizing seismology, from the University of California, Berkeley and Santa Barbara, respectively, and his MBA from the University of Southern California. Since his early years, Jess has traveled nearly annually to Greece and Italy, and lived and worked in Italy for 5 years working in science and technology. In 2013 Jess co-founded and led Blue Rocket, a company dedicated to the design and development of mobile apps for businesses. Presently he is working to merge his interests in science, technology, pottery and the Classics.
